Description:
This course will include understanding new concepts in the caries process. Also covered will be the topics of Biodentine in pulp therapy and indirect pulp caps, CVEK pulpotomies for dental trauma, GIC restorations and the Hall Technique.
Objectives:
- Know the indications, contraindications, and the steps for an indirect pulp cap
- Describe the steps for a Slot Prep using GIC and new restorative materials
- List and describe the 5 factors that are the causative effects of caries and they do include toothbrushing

- Attendees will learn the indications and contraindications for a GIC indirect pulp cap
- Attendees will learn the advantages of SDF and when to use SDF and how to incorporate the SMART technique
- Understanding the new concepts in the caries process
