1. Describe the multiple uses of bioceramics in pulp therapy, such as direct pulp cap, indirect pulp cap and as a temporary restorative material
2. How to use bioceramics in pulp exposures due to dental trauma and caries exposures
3. Learn the indications and steps for use of bioceramics as a temporary restorative material
Description:
This course will describe the recent advances of the role of bioceramics in pulp therapy in Pediatric Dentistry. Its many uses include direct pulp caps, indirect pulp caps, temporary restorations, and treating pulp exposures due to caries or trauma. Bioceramics fit nicely into MID. This session will discuss the indications and contra-indications of the use of bioceramics as well as the simple steps to achieving pulpal healing. At the conclusion of this lecture the learner will be able to apply bioceramics in their every day clinical practice.
